Isk Making: Using Alts for Incursion Running

Sansha's Nation began forming in 5 YC, shortly after the establishment of CONCORD, by a Caldari industrial mogul named Sansha Kuvakei.

We all have those characters that serve a niche in our repertoire. Whether it be a scanning alt, a hauler alt, or just a scout, these characters can be easily skilled into a basic incursion fitting at minimal cost - when considering initial investment and sacrificing skillpoints towards it.  The pay out can be substantial for an activity that takes minimal (but essential) attention.

It tends to be easy money with minimal travel time if you keep a jumpclone in the incursion system.

Warp To Me Incursions

First and foremost, if you have not already done so, please join the Warp To Me incursion community Channel, "Warp To Me Incursions." This community has been around for god only knows how long, and they are excellent at managing fleets and teaching new incursion runners how to participate, survive, and excell in these encounters. They hold pretty high standards for FC's as well.

WARNING: They will treat you like a newb the first time you join them, they will give you a newbro speech that walks you through the very basics as though you've never played eve. This is not to be taken personally, take it with grace and follow their procedures. Consult the links in the channel for the NewBro guide that explains these procedures and why they exist- or just go to the following website:

Ships & Fittings

The main focus of this guide is to spend the least amount of time skilling into the cheapest fits, and then upgrade as necessary when more isk is available. The WTM community will notice if you fly trash for an extended period. They expect you to make more of a contribution after a while, for example, upgrading from a Maelstrom to a Macheriel. You will need to be over 100k EHP before links, so you may have to use T2 Rigs if you dont want to put as much time into skilling basic shield skills.

There are 3 main roles in these fleets, including logi, dps, and sniping. Sniping takes BY FAR the least amount of skillpoints and isk, and also requires the least amount of active attention during the incursion runs.

How to Join a Fleet & Communications

Once you have the ship, fitting, and skills, you will have to move to the listed DOCKUP location in the MOTD of W2M channel.

Go into the community channel MOTD and click on the WAITLIST hyperlink. It will open a waitlist website where you will be required to submit a clipboard copy of your acceptable fitting. Then promptly join the Warp To Me TS3 channel at ts.warptome.net - using the exact name of the character attempting to join the fleet.

Sit docked up until you are poked in TS3 and receive an invite to fleet. Warp to the fleet, but remain on gate. Attempt to warp to the FC a second time, just in case they warped off to another site. If you get an error message, youre in the right place. Standby, and ask the FC for the gate's status in TS, or in fleet chat, and await his response. Let them know if you are new to incursions with Warp To Me. DO NOT LIE, they will know and you will embarass yourself. READ the guide prior. Donate 10mil ISK per 24 hour period to their SRP program listed in the fleet MOTD.

In the Site

Shoot the targets labelled alphabetically (except for the J/X tags unless otherwise told explicitely), make sure you're on the fleet mate labelled as the AAA anchor (do not bump), assist your heavy drones on the fleet mate labled DDD, and make sure you pay attention enough to reload.

ALWAYS broadcast for repairs when being YELLOWBOXED. If you wait until redboxing, you will die and you will not be SRP'ed. Keep your shield invulns cycles offset. For the most part, you can keep this alt's eve window along the edge of your screen showing the important parts of your HUD, listen to comms, and do other things on another character.

Abbreviations:

AAA - Fleet Anchor - keep at range.
HHH - Heavy Drone Bunny - Assist your Heavy Drones to this chap.
DDD - Light Drone Bunny - Assist your Light Drones to this chap.
VVV- Brawler (Vindicator) anchor - keep at range if you are a brawler.
